Baptism is the first holy sacrament initiated and instituted by Jesus Christ. Through the sprinkling water, we are connecting with the time Jesus was baptized by John in the Jordan River and the Spirit coming upon Jesus. This Holy Sacrament celebrates the birth of children into the world and also into the Kingdom of God by virtue of the Spirit coming upon them. Baptism is open to anyone of any age not yet baptized for the same reasons described above.
